NY Times article

NY Times columnist Ross Douthat writes today of the contrast between pro-abort Ted Kennedy and his pro-life sister Eunice.  He speculates how liberalism might be different today had Ted remained pro-life; for instance, if Ted had not attacked Robert Bork in 1987, Roe v. Wade might have been overturned in the 1992 Casey decision.   Link:  http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/31/opinion/31douthat.html?_r=1&scp=2&sq=abortion&st=cse

Did Ted Kennedy go to heaven?

Did Ted Kennedy go to heaven?

My friend Tricia Erickson poses this provacative question. In remembering the life of Senator Kennedy, here are my thoughts in a recent press release,  as well as Tricia’s op/ed. Atlanta, GA – Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., today reflected on the passing of Sen. Young women making new choices: sometimes a queen can change the destiny of a nation…

http://yourbroadcastfix.com/black-prolife-advocates-cheer-kourtney-kardashian-choosing-life-abortion/     Maybe some young women can write to Kourtney and let her know that being a mother is a good thing. Also, young women might want to consider rethinking the value of their sexuality, and make some different choices about how they maximize on their feminine power by purposefully choosing to delay gratification and choosing a path that will help them birth and nurture powerful children who will grow up to be powerful people. A positive thought for today! Queen Esther…

Kourtney Kardashian is playing our song!

African American women say: “Kourtney Kardashian is playing our song!”   “The courage of Kourtney Kardashian, and the hundreds of young women who are coming to similar conclusions regarding unplanned pregnancies is proof that abortion is not the answer for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for women,” said Dr. Alveda King, Director of African American Outreach for Priests for life, and spokeswoman for the Silent No More Awareness Campaign. “ Kourtney is singing our song. We’ve been saying…

When I was a Democrat

When I was a Democrat

When I was a Democrat I ran across this article from National Review on the internet.  It caused me to rethink the whole issue of politics. I’ve been a Democrat, and I’ve been a Republican. I’ve even considered being an independent. Today, I’m just a Christian. We are all one race, one blood, human (unless we were born on Star Trek.)  I am becoming more and more convinced that now is the time for Reublicans, Democrats, Independents, every party, everybody,…
