Thank God for Our President’s Prayers: More Hope for Life from Womb to the Tomb

Thank God for Our President’s Prayers: More Hope for Life from Womb to the Tomb

“Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT May history always remember the day the President of The United States humbly acknowledged God our Creator at the annual National Day of Prayer on May 2, 2019. My heart was filled with love for humanity,…

Today Is My Birthday

Today Is My Birthday

Yesterday we celebrated MLK’s birthday. Several candidates announced a presidential bid yesterday. Most if not all of those candidates are pro-abortion. Today is my birthday. Today is also the anniversary of the horribly bad Roe v. Wade legislation which become law in 1973. I’m not marching for life today. We did that last Friday at the annual March for Life where I was blessed to do the closing prayer. However, I am praying; and blogging. Don’t be fooled y’all. Abortion…

Marching for Life, Congressman King’s Our Brother, The Wall Makes Sense, MLK DAY All About Love

Marching for Life, Congressman King’s Our Brother, The Wall Makes Sense, MLK DAY All About Love

As “boots on the ground” in Washington, DC for the 24th Annual National Memorial Prayer Service and the March for Life today, I’m also getting calls to defend Congressman Steve King for racist remarks. Meanwhile, my family and I are in the heat and heart of the celebration of the 90th birthday of my uncle Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. And people are still fighting about the wall. I’m being asked if Congressman King a racist? Actually, from my…

African American Leaders Unite Around the Wall to Help Avoid Looming Crisis

African American Leaders Unite Around the Wall to Help Avoid Looming Crisis

Some claim that building a wall is “medieval solution” to a modern problem. The wheel is an ancient solution too. Nobody’s complaining about that. POTUS is on target. Walls do work; as in the days of Ezra and Nehemiah, walls are still viable solutions. Why now? Just days away are the March for Life and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday yet America is in crisis at the southern border. As an African American voice for justice, a defender of…

2019 New Year challenges will bring our nation to our knees.

2019 New Year challenges will bring our nation to our knees.

With 2019 unfolding, we leave the roller coaster year of 2018 behind us. Now moving into 2019, we can expect more fireworks which will be accelerated in the Spirit. In 2018 there were more ups and downs than we could have imagined. From the Supreme Court controversy which accelerated the sanctity of life debate, to the hair raising mid-term elections that sparked excessive strife, to the increasing pressures surrounding border security; the heat is on. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire….

As the Dust from the Mid-Term Wars Begins To Settle, Prayer Remains Key

As the Dust from the Mid-Term Wars Begins To Settle, Prayer Remains Key

In the aftermath of the mid-term elections, as the dust begins to settle, I keep wondering why Christians would “roll over and play dead” at the polls? Why would Christians “run for cover” rather than fight the good fight of faith at the polls? Why would we go undercover when someone punches us in the gut for standing up for Bible truth? Then it occurred to me; the weapons of our warfare are not carnal; they are mighty before God….

Genocide and Eugenics are Death Care; Injustice Anywhere…

British Prime Minister Theresa May is promoting foreign aid to Africa. Her so called “aid” is laced with abortion and chemical/artificial device laden death care. Chelsea Clinton is touting this same eugenic/genocidal death care agenda as an economic boon. Not to be left behind in advertising death care, Oprah Winfrey is telling women to “Shout Your Abortion!” What is the world coming to? For the past three decades, I have traveled the globe to Africa, Europe, Middle East, Caribbean Islands…

Wow, What a Week: Prison Reform, Abortion, Fake News, and Prayer at the White House

Wow, What a Week: Prison Reform, Abortion, Fake News, and Prayer at the White House

First, #PrisonSeparatesFamilies. #BringOurDadsHome. Angela Stanton and I just returned from speaking at a prison ministry service in Mississippi to about 200 men. Almost every man in the room was a father, grandfather and some were great-grandfathers. It was such a blessing to be able to bring hope to the lives of those that in a place that presumably doesn’t often offer much hope. Second, #AbortionSeparatesFamilies. #LetOurChildrenLive. Abortion activists are at it again. This time it’s The Afiya Center, a black…

Revisiting Prophecy after the Hot Meeting at the White House

Revisiting Prophecy after the Hot Meeting at the White House

Talk about a long hot summer… Since my recent visit to the White House on August 1, 2018, the heat has been turned up. Being a part of the group present for an update on President Trump’s prison reform agenda has caused a firestorm in many circles, to say the least. I Timothy 2:1-2 “Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in…

Let Freedom Ring for Everyone

Let Freedom Ring for Everyone

While Independence Day, July 4th, is usually celebrated with bar-b-que cookouts, family gatherings, those kinds of things, there is much beyond the celebratory efforts that demand our prayers. We must give credence to the importance of justice and independence across the spectrum. Remember, we just celebrated Juneteenth last month. Coming up on August 28, I Have a Dream Day will mark the anniversary of the famous speech MLK gave in 1963 where he noted that there was a check marked…
